This is christoph for German Kinkats-Magazine. I’d like to ask you some questions concerning the band and the life behind the scenes, to accompany the upcoming split-release with Peter Pan Speedrock. 1a) I read the booklet of your “Live At The Klub Foot” Release lately. There was an anecdote saying, some other guy posed himself as the singer of Batmobile and was quite successful in scoring girls that night. Was there any kind of revenge from your side?
Haha….nice one. In fact I met this guy in Germany and he went to become somewhat of a friend, he even stayed at my place back in the days. Then he told me about this after a while and I must say I had to laugh about it. Not funny was the fact that he nicked some small stuff from my house after the last time we met. He’s in a band so my revenge is to play with him as little as possible. The asswipe
1b) How did it feel to be copied to make another guy more interesting?
Back then I had to laugh about it. It was a bit sad ofcourse
1c) Did you have any idol you would have loved to impersonate backstage then?
I truly believe I am the reincarnation of Elvis gone bad
1d) I guess throughout the following years, things concerning groupies might have changed a lot. When you came up with the album title “Sex Starved” it was not very plausible that this described your own condition… How much was the whole Sex&Drugs&Rock’n’Roll-myth the fuel for your career?
Why wouldn’t it be plausible, please note that 99% of our lyrics are autobiographic!
